I bought this juice because, as far as my extensive research found, it is the only long-life pineapple juice on the market which does not contain added sugar. So it's unique. Other brands have an average of 30% added sugar -not good for health. Yet, its natural juice makes it is just as sweet and, in fact, more flavoursome, than those other brands which have the added sugar. I was't put off by the fact that it is made from 'concentrate'. All that that means is that when pineapples are crushed and their juice extracted in the country or origin, the plain water is removed from the juice, so that only pure juice is frozen and exported. This makes it cheaper to freeze and ship. There is no benefit in freezing and shipping the plain water content too, as some other brands do. When the 'concentrate' arrives at its destination, the same amount of water is added back in, before packaging, to restore the original content.
