Deliciously fiery hot and not too sweet
Most chilli chocolate isn't really that hot but this one leaves a wonderfully brilliant warm glow in the mouth after the initial chocolate taste. It's not too sweet either and is one of the best that I have tasted outdoing both Whittard's and Hotel Chocolat's chilli chocolates easily.
Real chocolate!
Bought as a present for wife after we had stopped at a well known coffee chain and her hot chocolate drink proved to be the usual weakish powdered cocoa type. She had resigned herself to never finding a decent drinking chocolate in England. I wanted to see if I could prove her wrong!
This is real chocolate (73% cocoa solids) with just a hint of chilli and makes a superb drink. Personally, though I rarely drink chocolate, I do prefer having the chilli. My wife also loved it and has at last found a decent drinking chocolate. Will be buying more both for the boss and for some friends!
Versatile
Montezuma's chocolate for drinking is actully small pieces of chocolate (some not so small). This is wonderful to drink but also really good with ice-cream! I make my own ice-cream and this makes it much more interesting than using ordinary chocolate. Even with bought ice-cream a little of this sprinkled on top will liven it up.
