Very tasty and surprisingly filling
I approached Slim Fast with a great degree of scepticism but its been around for a long time now and lots of people use it, one assumes with some degree of success as it doesn't appear to be just another fad.
Each of the three tins supplied contains enough for 12 servings, or 6 days if your having two shakes a day. I would recommend getting two flavours, the Chocolate is thick and delicious and feels very naughty which does help as you don't feel as your depriving yourself but this Strawberry is just lovely as is.
As I say the shakes are thick, I bought a shaker mixer from Amazon and just rinse it out when done.
It does require cold milk, otherwise they are not so thick, also you need skimmed milk. To get the most flavour I would recommend UHT as I find UHT skimmed milk has the same flavour as semi-skimmed milk, the UHT process intensifies the flavour, plus it keeps for an age and can be transported without refrigeration before opening, so you can take...
Update on Weight Loss
I have been buying Slimfast on Amazon since the start of Feb. I have current lost and kept off 24 pounds, which is 4 pounds off my goal weight.
I'll not lie this is not easy but slimfast has made it easy for me. I'm not very good at diets my problem with these eat what you want points systems is great I can have a cake. BUT I CAN'T JUST HAVE ONE!!! I think the reason slimfast worked for me was because I didn't have any food in the house other than my evening meal. I ate what I wanted in the evening between 600 - 700 calories. I stayed away from carbs and if I have to have carbs I have brown rice, pasta, bread but limit the amount.
I didn't have the slimfast snacks and if I needed to snack had a piece of fruit or one rivita with cucumber and jalapenos or a fat free yoghurt. My other saving grace was a jar of sushi ginger which i kept inside my fridge door so if I found myself attempting to graze I would just eat some ginger ( whole jar is only 19 calories and it's...
