Great Selection pricey but good.
Mug; Is lovely thick creamy and smooth top class root beer
A&W: you all know its a classic and to be honest you wont find a root beer that beats it... best of the best
Barq's: Watery, not very "full flavoured" better than Carters but only just! My opinion go to your local chinese store and buy 10 cans of A&W
Good Stuff
If you like root beer then this is a great way of figuring out which brand is your favourite. These are your 3 major types and there's quite a taste difference between all 3.
I'm a big root beer fan, but my reason for not giving this 5 stars is purely due to it containing Barg's. It's really not a pleasant tasting root beer in my opinion and is the only one of the 3 to contain caffeine. But overall it's a great sample pack and would make a root beer fan's day!
Root Beer Sampler
This is a fantastic idea, both for people who want to try root beer for the first time and those who love it already!
Root beer has quite a strong medicinal, earthy taste and may be off putting for people new to it. But it grows on you!
A&W:
This one is a classic and the one you'll come across most often. It's syrupy and delicious, probably one of the best. 170 calories per can and caffeine free.
Mug:
This is delicious too, though I found it slightly less syrupy than the A&W. It's 160 calories per can. It's caffeine free also.
Barq's:
This one was my favourite by far. It's tastes slightly different to the other two "classic" root beers. It has a slightly citrusy flavour and leaves a kind of a floral aftertaste. That may sound off-putting but it's really lovely! The taste is not as strongly medicinal as A&W and Mug, so people new to root beer might like to try it first. This one is 160 calories per can and DOES contain caffeine...
