An unusual refreshing green tea.
If you are reading this review you probably know the difference between catering tea bags and real tea. This particular tea is rather unusual and yields a very refreshing cup.
I found that by using rather more tea than usual (2 teaspoons per cup) and giving a very cool but short brew (2 minutes at 70 centigrade- when the first tiny bubbles appear in the water) the result was quite unique. A light green liquor with an almost herby-earthy flavour, on the sweet side rather than bitter, and extremely refreshing- an ideal drink for warm weather.
No milk or sugar.
I did try a second brew from the same leaves, as fine teas often provide more than one good brew, but the result was not as satisfying, with the bitter flavours taking over and I'd really recommend this one as better with one brew per set of leaves.
