Juicy, Tart, and Tasty
The main reason for selecting this lime flavored Matcha is for the mixing opportunities it offered. I have many different flavored Matcha (having amassed quite a collection by now!) and I thought that the sunny, tart flavor of the lime might brighten up some of the other flavors a bit, adding a unique flavor dimension to my chawan. Of particular interest to me was a combination of Watermelon Matcha and Lime Matcha. I think that this combination should prove to be stunning! At least I hope so!
This Matcha ... or should I say the lime flavor of this Matcha ... has allowed me to explore the Matcha in a completely different way. Because of the tart and even the bitter tones (perhaps especially the bitter tones) of the lime, I taste an earthy quality to the Matcha that I did not expect, but am quite enjoying.
