Pear juice drink..no, lemon juice drink...yes.
I should've known better than to buy this cheap juice drink, because it tastes horrible. If the description hadn't said it contained pear then I wouldn't have known. It tastes of lemon and is acidic and cloying with a bitter aftertaste, which has burnt my tongue and lips. I am suffering so you don't have to! It bears no comparison to actual pear juice. Far from being 'a great tasting premium fruit juice drink' it tastes like a cheap over processed carton drink.
The ingredients as stated in the product description are also incorrect. The actual ingredients as stated on the bottle description are: Water, pear puree (30%), pear juice from concentrate (20%), sugar, acidifier: concentrated lemon juice, antioxidant: L ascorbic acid.
If you are buying this pear juice drink because you want something that tastes of pear, then you will be disappointed. I really am struggling to say something nice about this product, but if you like lemon juice you might enjoy it.
