Think I'll stick with this for a while
I know there are a lot of coffee buffs out there happy to write reviews but as I'm just a coffee lover with an average machine, I'm not going to start ranting about 'chocolaty overtones' or anything. To give you an idea, I drink latte, like strong, full tasting coffee and usually order a double shot. I make my coffee the same at home, using the larger basket in my machine. When I go out I like Costa, find Nero too bitter and am ok with starbuck's double shot, but my favourite is AMT. I bought this as I had tried getting a cheaper espresso and found it disappointing. This one it is a nice one, has a great aroma and sets me up well in the morning. Although it is not really any cheaper than some other reasonable espressos, it is certainly not overpriced. I will probably try some of their other coffees but will definitely re-order this one.
Espresso? Yes please!
This coffee has a very strong smell which is very pleasant especially while being ground. When used in an espresso machine; it produces an excellently thick crema. Its taste is exceptional and the coffee is medium to light bodied, making it very drinkable. If I were to be picky, it leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste which I solved by adjusting my grinder's setting (I set it to a coarser setting). As the name implies; it is best for espresso however it doesn't fail to impress when used for a good old cappuccino!
