Tastes like furniture polish!
I have been drinking Earl Grey for many years and tried all these floral scented Earl Grey teas when they first came out.
You can most definitely smell and taste the flora in each tea but sadly I find that the lavender tea just makes me think of the lavender scented furniture polish my mum used to use.
I much prefer the Rose Garden version of this tea and I buy that on subscription from Amazon. Rose Garden is difficult to source from most supermarkets and it's expensive straight from Twinings but much more affordable from Amazon. Rose is my go to tea whenever I get stressed out. If you remember Twinings Rose Pouchong it's similar to that.
Just wonderful
If you are a tea drinker and like to experiment I think you will enjoy this. The lavender enhances the flavour rather than simply making the tea scented. I am very prone to headaches and copious amounts of Earl grey tea has always been my remedy of choice - this variety, with the added lavender, seems to be even more efficacious.
Am so enthusiastic about this tea that I have it on a subscription from Amazon as it isn't reliably available in my local supermarkets.
