Soft Brew is delicious but note the packaging warning
This non alcoholic fruit brew is delicious. I first tasted it in the Clink Restaurant, and I scoured the internet to find a supplier. Eventually I contacted the brewer and found them very helpful. When I ordered from Amazon I was full of anticipation. However, I was then informed that the carrier had returned the package as several bottles had been broken in transit. Amazon resent first class at no extra cost but when the package arrived it was soaking wet and had several bottles broken so I refused to accept it (the carrier had kindly put the broken and soaking mess that had been a cardboard box, into a plastic bag). I advised Amazon that the packaging was insufficient for glass bottles, and as the same carriers deliver bottles of wine and whisky to me without a single breakage perhaps amazon needs to review its packaging of this product. I never received a constructive reply, just an apology and an cancellation of my order. But the good news is that Soft Brew is available from...
Just like beer......but better!
This stuff is fantastic. Smells like beer, has a froth like beer, and tastes lovely. Love both apple and lemon. It's a great alternative to alcohol for my evening drink. :D
Like beer, but without alcohol
This is delicious! My partner and I can both not drink for medical reasons, so I am always on the hunt for good alternatives to actual alcohol. This is the best I have tried so far. I can only recommend it to anyone in my position, or even just if you don't fancy drinking for a night. The lemon flavor is a tad stronger than the apple in favour and reminds of a very mild bitter. The apple variation is smoother and closer to a blond beer. I personally prefer the lemon taste, but both are great and awesome alternative to the real thing! The only downside is that our local supermarket doesn't stock this delicious stuff in six packs yet, but then that is what amazon is for.
