Delicious surprise
I don't usually have sugar in my coffee so was a bit sceptical about putting syrup in, but in the recent hot weather I have been drinking iced coffee and have found that toffee flavoured syrup makes it particularly delicious. My recipe: about one third good strong coffee (espresso or filter); two or three ice cubes; top up with milk (I like my coffee milky) and add toffee flavoured syrup. The amount will depend on how sweet you like your coffee. I usually put a couple of teaspoonsful. It's scrumptious!
