An acceptable cup of joe with a kick like a mule
I take my coffee black, I drink a couple of cups a day and respect flavour over caffeine content, although I will choke down even the most face-implodingly-bitter double espresso after dinner should it be placed in front of me. So when this little bottle turned up reading 'rocket-fuel' and with the black get-up and 'energy' plastered all over it I wasn't expecting much.
But let me tell you; it's not bad at all. The coffee is smooth and strong as purported and the caffeine is most certainly there. A single spoonful of this instant feels like a couple of filters to me - although this is a highly subjective measure. However the taste is a little chemically, the smoothness does not feel like it is due to the quality of the coffee, more likely down to some sort of acidity regulator. Ingredients read: Instant Coffee, natural guarana extract (1.75%) - I didn't realise "Instant coffee" was an ingredient you didn't have to break-down but there we go.

Classy instant coffee-type drink
I love the rich nutty taste of this and by a long way prefer this above instant coffee which gives me low blood sugar. Rocket Fuel is much tastier than instant coffee as well. Unfortuntely I became suddenly intolerant to coffee (the black cafetiere kind) and was doubled over with cramps for 3 days before I realised what caused it. I have had to stop drinking this kind of coffee but can cope with the odd cappuchino. As regards Rocket Fuel I can now only drink it at half strength (one teaspoon). I probably am therefore not the best person to review this product but at least I have found an instant coffee type drink that I can tolerate. I didn't notice the awakeness boost but I can say that I am never tired after drinking a cup. I would recommend this as an inventive alternative caffeine and something-else boost.
Strong but no fireworks...
Not quite sure who this is aimed at, seems like the instant coffee equivalent of those energy drinks dressed up in an admittedly attractive jar. This is a strong dark coffee. It's OK, but as an expresso drinker it doesn't really give the same caffeine hit. I'm also not sure what the "then a sustained hit of all natural Guarana" is all about really either. In short, it's a nice strong coffee but that's about it.
